 1. How to get the programs
  Q: Where can users get the Modelin ID ? Do they need to pay for it ?
  A: The Serial No. and Key code can be found on the Modelin License sheet packed inside the Saw Guide Packages. There is no extra fee.
     
  Q: Are any free trial versions of the program available ?
  A: The trial version is limited to V1, which can be downloaded from either Z-Saw HP or www.download.com.
     
 2. Re-issue ID & password
  Q: What if the user forgets the ID or Password ?
  A: Any user who forgets the Modelin ID or Password should e-mail modelin@z-saw.co.jp requesting reissue of the ID and Password and quoting the original Serial No. and On-line key code supplied with the saw guide. Once the information is confirmed, an e-mail with the previous ID and password will be sent to the registered e-mail address.
     
  Q: What should registers do if they lose lost all referral data including the Serial No. and On-line key code ?
  A: The Serial No. and On-line key code will not be issued twice. Please keep the data safely just in case.
     
  Q: Why did I not receive a confirmation e-mail after I registered ?
  A:

The registered e-mail address may not exist. Click here to check whether the address is correctly registered.
* In case the mail address is not shown up, you may have registered invalid e-mail address.

    Note

Registering with addresses of free mail providers (Hotmail, Yahoo, and Gmail etc.) may hamper smooth mail accessing. It is better to apply with an address registered with an ISP (Internet Service Provider).

    It can occasionally happen that the reply is temporarily delayed due to the ISP’s maintenance.

 3. How to deal with error message
  Q: The program fails to start, and a message of [Run-time Error '76': Path not found] appears.
  A: Originally drawing data is automatically saved to [My document] folder in [C] drive, the error message of [Run-time Error ‘76’: Path not found] will appear when [My document] folder is moved from [C] drive to other drive (e.g. [E],[F] drive) without designate a specific folder under the [My document].
    To solve the problem, create a backup folder in [My document], then, specify the path as E:\backup.
     
  Q: The program fails to start, and a message of [xxx.OCX or xxx.dll is not found.] appears.
  A: Inadequate Visual Basic 6.0 runtime may cause the problem. Click here to download VisualBasic 6.0 SP6, and install the program.
     
  Q: Installation of the program fails, and an error message of [The installation is failed. Please inquire to application vender to confirm the qualification of Windows installer package.] appears.
  A:

There is a slight possibility that Installation of Modelin may not proceed smoothly if anti-virus software is active. If you encounter this problem, it is best to un-install the anti-virus software first, and try to download Modelin again.

 4. How to download woodworking plans
  Q: I am having trouble downloading a plan. What could be the problem ?
  A: To download a plan from the table, click the [Download] tab first, and click the [Save] to download the data to the designated folder. Then, Start up Modelin, and click [Open the existing plan] to open the plan.
   

V1 woodworking plans should be saved to My documents ->modelin V1-> data.
V2 woodworking plans should be saved to My documents ->modelin V2-> data.

 5. Others
  Q: Are there any drawing plans available inside of the default folder when the Modelin is firstly downloaded ?
  A:

No sample plans are provided. Please download your chosen plans from the woodworking plan page.
