 Blade replacement & Angle adjustment

Caution : Since the saw teeth are very sharp, we recommend that you wear gloves or wrap the blade with something (a cloth or towel or its cardboard sleeve) when replacing the blade.
 
 1.Hook-Fit Detachment Attachment

Tap the front edge on a small block of scrap timber to loosen the blade. Pull the blade out of the spine. Hook the blade into the spine. Tap the spine on a small block of scrap timber to attach the blade.
This applies only to STRAIGHT H-190 Wood SB, H-270 Wood LB
 
Detachment Attachment Caution
 
1.Wrap the blade in a rag or towel for safety.
2.Tap the handle end with the saw teeth facing upward to loosen the blade.
3.Pull the blade out of the spine.
1.Wrap the blade in a rag or towel for safety.
2.Insert the blade into the spine, and hook onto the pivot.
3.Squeeze the blade into the gap of the spine as a temporary lock.
4.Tap the handle end gently with the saw teeth facing downward to fix the blade firmly. Never detach a blade by knocking the back of the blade toe, it may cause serious injury.
 
Detachment Attachment Angle adjustment


1.Make sure the lever is locked.
2.Wrap the blade in a rag or towel for safety.
3.Tap the handle end with the teeth facing upward to loosen the blade.
4.Pull the blade out of the spine.

3.Insert the blade into the spine, and hook onto the pivot.
4.Squeeze the blade into the gap of spine as a temporary lock.
5.Tap the handle end gently with the saw teeth facing downward to fix the blade firmly. 1.Unlock the lever.
2.Rotate the blade holder to angle required.
3.Lock the lever firmly.
This applies only to PISTOL H-150 Wood, FOLDING H-210・240・270.
 
 2.Screw-Fit Detachment Attachment Detachment Attachment

Loosen the screw with coin or screwdriver, and pull the blade out from the handle. Insert the blade, and tighten the screw to fix the blade firmly.
This applies only to PISTOL PS-130 Wood.
 
 3.Pin-Fit Detachment Attachment

1.Unfasten the bolt.
2.Pull the nut out.
3.Remove the blade.
1.Insert the blade into the handle.
2.Put the bolt into the hole and connect to the nut.
3.Fasten the bolt tightly. 

 Blade care
 Proper saw blade care will improve your working efficiency and extend the life of the saw blade.
  1. Always brush off all residues from the saw blade and teeth after use.
  2. Oil the blade.
  3. Wrap the blade in VCI (volatile corrosion inhibitor) paper or newspaper for storage.
